I build a limited number of instruments each year, in order to dedicate the necessary time, attention and care to each project.

My current work focuses on the study of romantic guitars of the Italian school, between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Starting from the observation of these historical models, I develop new instruments for contemporary musicians, maintaining a direct connection with the forms, proportions and construction solutions of the Italian tradition.

My work is not oriented towards quantity, but towards the quality of the process. Each commission begins with a dialogue with the musician and takes shape through the definition of the model, tonal requirements, repertoire, materials and aesthetic choices.

Commissioning an instrument means entering a slow and thoughtful process, in which every decision is carefully considered: not only for the final appearance of the instrument, but for its voice, its balance and the relationship it will establish with the person who plays it.
